Adobe has launched a new free service, Adobe Spark, which it claims is the only integrated web and mobile solution for creating and sharing visual stories. It has been aimed to appeal to anyone from small businesses to social marketers and students.
The new service is part of Creative Cloud and includes a number of rebranded associated apps from Adobe that allow users to create, edit and share their story from wherever they are.
They include the Adobe Spark web app, a browser-based web experience for creating social posts and graphics, web stories and animated videos; Spark Post – an IOS mobile app to create social posts and graphics in seconds; Spark Page – an IOS mobile app that helps create web stories and Spark Video – an IOS mobile app that allows users to create animated video in minutes. Spark Post, Spark Page and Spark Video were previously known as Adobe Post, Adobe Slate and Adobe Voice.
“Today anyone can create content and share it via social media, but most people lack the skill, time and resources to create something that cuts through the online clutter,” said Bryan Lamkin, executive vice president and general manager, Digital Media at Adobe.
“With Adobe Spark, anyone can create authentic, professional looking visual content for their project, passion, cause or business.”
Adobe is also encouraging smaller businesses and individuals with their marketing efforts through its collaboration with Facebook Blueprint.
The new global education and certification programme has been designed to help agencies and advertisers get more out of marketing on Facebook and Instagram platforms. Adobe will provide tutorial content to users on how to successfully market themselves on the Facebook and Instagram platforms using Adobe Spark.
